Actor  Dancer  Singer

The child of Russian immigrants, Katya has been dancing since she could fill out a leotard.  Early training in Los Angeles led her to the School of American Ballet and ultimately to the Boston Ballet.  

 

After her tenure as a ballerina, including representing the United States at the 21st Varna International Ballet Competition, she expanded into all styles of dance.

 

As a commercial and theatre dancer she has worked in numerous films, TV projects, and music videos.

She has been performing with The Metropolitan Opera since 2014 and is currently on faculty with the Harkness School of Dance at the 92NY.

 

Katya is passionate about continuing to expand her craft. Both as an actor on stage and screen, as well as a dance educator for students of all ages and abilities

 

She is grateful to all the great instructors, friends, and family who have helped make her dreams a reality.
